  1. @amalia22 So, the #BBC are reporting this sh*t, are they, as well as the @guardian? What I'd like to know is, if/when we'll get the POV of people with #ADHD &/or #autism on this. But ADHD is a "myth", according to #Channel4, & people like me, who are #autistic, seldom, if ever, get asked our #opinion about anything.

  2. ‘I’m not even an actor – I was just grieving!’: rising star Lara Ricote on the real heartache behind her new breakup comedy
    By Rachel Aroesti

The Mexican-American comedian had just split from her boyfriend when she filmed Break Clause, about an ex-couple living together in London. She talks trading telenovelas for Edinburgh and embracing your feelings

  3. @JugglingWithEggs The whole thing is a grotesque & insulting #attack on #people with #autism (like me) & other forms of #neurodivergence, #ADHD being one of them - & absolutely typical of #Channel4. I don't think it's any accident that the presenter of the #programme is a columnist for the #DailyMail.

  4. There is nothing scientific about The Great ADHD Myth? ‘documentary’ | Gina Rippon
    By Gina Rippon

Channel 4’s programme wastes a chance to ask important questions about how ADHD is diagnosed and treated, instead indulging in unscientific methods and conspiracy theories

  6. A Review of the Guardian’s Review of Channel 4’s ‘The Great ADHD Myth?’

    theneuroscienceofeverydaylife.

I reviewed the Guardian's review of The Great ADHD Myth, and found it... well, lacking doesn't really do it justice.

  7. My husband isn't letting me watch the shitty The #ADHD Myth? show on #Channel4

However I will probably watch it on demand later so I've got the Ofcom Complaints rules up. ofcom.org.uk/siteassets/resour

Apparently Rule 10 says "An ODPS must not contain any material likely to incite violence or hatred against a group of
persons or a member of a group of persons based on any of the grounds [cont...]

  8. theguardian.com/society/2026/a. #ADHD is NOT a myth, & #Channel4 are doing far more #harm than any possible #good with the mere TITLE of this wretched so-called "documentary" of theirs, let alone its content! Speaking on behalf of all #neurodivergent people, in this instance, if on no other occasion, there are times when I wish all the #media in Hell!

  9. CW: Channel4, ADHD

    So I just realised something.

Last August, Channel 4 came out with a rather negative and shitty documentary called "Do I have ADHD?" and was basically trying to be quite dismissive then.

Is August now the annual time for Channel 4 to attack people with ADHD? Why the fuck are they like this?

Who are the key figures in the #Sewage crisis, and where are they now?

With anger stoked by #Channel4’ s drama #DirtyBusiness, we look at what has happened to some of the main players

"Water companies have been in the public eye for the wrong reasons again recently. #SouthWestWater was in the dock pleading guilty to supplying water unfit for human consumption, while the regulator fined South East Water £22.5m for repeated supply failures that affected more than 280,000 people over three years.

"As the full scale of the sewage pollution scandal has been revealed to the public over the past six years, key figures working for the regulators and the #privatised companies have been heavily criticised. Channel 4’s drama Dirty Business has focused attention on individuals at the heart of the scandal.

"The Guardian examined what some of the main characters are doing today."

    "Sarah Bentley

Bentley was the chief executive of #ThamesWater from September 2020 to June 2023. She joined from Severn Trent and promised an eight-year turnaround for the company, but left with immediate effect after three years following a public outcry over the discharge of #RawSewage into #rivers and missing targets on pollution and sewer flooding."
