  1. My husband isn't letting me watch the shitty The #ADHD Myth? show on #Channel4

However I will probably watch it on demand later so I've got the Ofcom Complaints rules up. ofcom.org.uk/siteassets/resour

Apparently Rule 10 says "An ODPS must not contain any material likely to incite violence or hatred against a group of
persons or a member of a group of persons based on any of the grounds [cont...]

  2. theguardian.com/society/2026/a. #ADHD is NOT a myth, & #Channel4 are doing far more #harm than any possible #good with the mere TITLE of this wretched so-called "documentary" of theirs, let alone its content! Speaking on behalf of all #neurodivergent people, in this instance, if on no other occasion, there are times when I wish all the #media in Hell!

  3. CW: Channel4, ADHD

    So I just realised something.

Last August, Channel 4 came out with a rather negative and shitty documentary called "Do I have ADHD?" and was basically trying to be quite dismissive then.

Is August now the annual time for Channel 4 to attack people with ADHD? Why the fuck are they like this?

  4. But give them more bonuses! Make sure the #shareholders are happy!

Who are the key figures in the #Sewage crisis, and where are they now?

With anger stoked by #Channel4’ s drama #DirtyBusiness, we look at what has happened to some of the main players

"Water companies have been in the public eye for the wrong reasons again recently. #SouthWestWater was in the dock pleading guilty to supplying water unfit for human consumption, while the regulator fined South East Water £22.5m for repeated supply failures that affected more than 280,000 people over three years.

"As the full scale of the sewage pollution scandal has been revealed to the public over the past six years, key figures working for the regulators and the #privatised companies have been heavily criticised. Channel 4’s drama Dirty Business has focused attention on individuals at the heart of the scandal.

"The Guardian examined what some of the main characters are doing today."

    "Sarah Bentley

Bentley was the chief executive of #ThamesWater from September 2020 to June 2023. She joined from Severn Trent and promised an eight-year turnaround for the company, but left with immediate effect after three years following a public outcry over the discharge of #RawSewage into #rivers and missing targets on pollution and sewer flooding."

  5. This is the best news report of the extreme conditions around the Northern Hemisphere that I've seen:

  6. Too cute not to re-post...
I mean I could say something about the #Channel4 #ADHD documentary, but I wont because we're not supposed to swear on here.

  7. @robinince
Hey, #Channel4, it's been determined already. Go needlessly stir up some other shit instead. Fucking assholes.

  8. Excellent short film!

Bury Your Gays, now on Channel 4.

It's about the bury your gays trope in acting.

    Certainly worth a watch.

  9. This Channel 4 continuity card has haunted me since 1983. I always thought it looked like something Terry Gilliam might have come up with. I half expected McGoohan's eyes to start darting about, his jaw to drop open, and something Monty Python-ish to ensue. Perhaps McGoohan's head would bounce off his shoulders and chase Rover around the screen!

Quite gave me the heebie-jeebies, it did. Still does, in fact.

  10. Quite enjoyed this one. A bit too Booksmart meets Such Brave Girls perhaps, but both of those are great IMHO, so still fun. Not sure if it’s intended to lead to a series.
