#challengersmovie — Public Fediverse posts

I will give a specific shout-out to a particular scene from #AndrewGarfield in an Indian restaurant that is particularly well done with regard to staging and acting and impact on the story.

I was also looking forward to this film because it was directed by #LucaGuadagnino, and I really enjoyed his last film, #Challengers #ChallengersMovie , which had all the elements I was hoping for in this film. /3

According to the math, the more time & effort I put into a comedic "Challengers" movie post, the less feedback I get.

May I trouble you for an autograph? Would you sign it, "To Starchy, my 3rd-favorite white boy, thanks for the balls, Tashi Duncan"?

Still thinking about them.

#ChallengersMovie was spectacular. One of the best sports movies I’ve seen in recent memory. Zendaya is special.

My one complaint is with the music - not the type of music, but the volume. In multiple scenes, the music is so loud that it's no longer background music and makes it very difficult to hear fairly important conversations between main characters. What is the purpose in that? It's just disruptive and unnecessary and to me, served as a detriment to understanding the actors in the film. #ChallengersMovie 2/2

I saw an early access screening of #ChallengersMovie last night. It was an interesting story idea. I wasn't too keen on the constant time jumps, though I get what they were going for. It was really cool to see #Zendaya in a role that's very different from what she's known for, though I admit I haven't seen Euphoria yet.

And, I figured out one of the plot points before it happened, which is fairly unusual for me! 1/2

I just got back from #ChallengersMovie and it is aggressively #bisexual

We spoke with @zendaya and Josh O’Connor joshographee on what it was like working with the creative mastermind, Sayombhu Mukdeeprom, the Thai cinematographer behind the new sports-drama film @challengersmovie.

The film is so uncomfortably immersive with its cinematic choices, there are time where you feel like you need to duck from an incoming ball or need to reach for a towel from being so close to the players’ sweat 🎾
