PGA Tour >> SIGNIFICANT overhaul coming in 2028! Implementing 2 tracks.

- Championship Series with the top 130 players, top money, purses of $20M or more

- Challenger Series, with 144-player fields, smaller purses ~$4M. Win two Challenger Series events gets automatic promotion to the Championship.

Will have the strictest form of promotion and relegation the sport has ever seen. “Championship” players who don’t play well for a full season will lose their access to top-tier events for a full season. A new points system will determine the best golfer in the world that season.

Schedule will incorporate off-week breaks, to incentivize pros to play two or three weeks straight before a reset.

Players in each series are restricted from competing in the other series. There is no alternate list for Championship events. The schedule will be trimmed down ~20/21 events with 36 hole cuts.

Following the stroke-play portion of the season, the Tour’s postseason will introduce match play for the first time.

Sponsor exemptions are gone! https://golf.com/news/pga-tour-overhaul-change-pro-golf/ #Golf #PGATour #Revamp #Restructure #PGAGolf #ChampionshipSeries #ChallengerSeries #ProfessionalGolf #ProGolf

Viele Strafen gg CHL.

#RugbySevens #ChallengerSeries

Deutschland wird morgen 10h59 gegen Chile spielen.

Chile besiegte im Viertelfinale Georgien 26:7. Georgien per Rot früh in Unterzahl. In 2ter Hälfte kassierte auch Chiles Nr. 7 (Gelb-)Rot.

1tes Halbfinale: Kenia – Uruguay.

Kenia gewann 21:19 gg Japan.

#ChallengerSeries #RugbySevens

#ChallengerSeries: alle Spiele der Männer der 2ten Staffel durchgespielt.

• Gruppe C: Kenia & Deutschland weiter, machen morgen Gruppensieg aus. #KENvUGA deutlich 29:7

• Portugal – Japan 17:22. Japan auch World Series-Absteiger, Portugal bestätigt die Aufwärtstendenz 2023.

• Tonga – Chile 26:19. Tonga dritter WS-Absteiger.

#ChallengerSeries #RugbySevens

#GERvUGA Endstand 19:5. Wow.

Man wirkt sicherer in Pässen & Offloads.

Kernmannschaft blieb recht lange auf dem Spielfeld.
