Still busy working on some designs I can’t really share yet. Here’s a life drawing I did the other day. As usual I wasn’t happy with it until a couple of days after drawing it
Think this was 15 minutes

CW: Life drawings, promotional content for a digital zine / drawing guide I published on ko-fi
I get asked a lot about how I use chalk pastels in my life drawings.
I included a small guide with a Life Drawing Zine I made for an exhibition in Central London earlier this year, and I've decided to make a digital edition available on my Ko Fi for £1. I hope it inspires people to start using colour in their life drawings, it's fun! - https://ko-fi.com/s/397c18ffd9 -

I'm also a prolific life drawer and portrait artist. Life drawing is a significant part of my practice, and I consider it a findamental skill. It's a great way to be mindful for a few hours, meet cool people, and share work and techniques. #LifeDrawing #FigureDrawing #LiveModel #ChalkPastel #TraditionalArt #MastoArt

Gave a crack at chalk pastels yesterday. I don't know if I like the resistance of them so much. Watercolor and water-based ink seems to gel better with my style. It was fun getting the colored dust all over my hands, though :suwi:
