Went diving for the first time this season yesterday, here in northern Greece. Water was already 20°C at surface, but 16°C at 30m. It was "a bit chilly" even with a 5mm wetsuit + 2mm over-shorty, but fortunately it was sunny outside. Saw lots of Antiopella cristata, a few small lobsters in their holes, a few curious octopuses going out in plain daylight and looking at us, and LOTS of fish, small and big.
Pictures will come later, after we've edited them to fix up the colours a bit.

Urlaub auf Kassandra gebucht
Heute Urlaub gebucht. Besser jetzt buchen, bevor die Flüge unbezahlbar werden. Im Herbst geht es eine Woche auf die Halbinsel Kassandra in Griechenland, in den Ort Kallithea. In der Ecke waren wir noch nicht und freuen uns, die Gegend dort ein wenig zu erkunden. So, und nun gebt uns Eure Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten dort, gute Restaurants oder schöne Strände. Wir sind eine Woche dort, mit Mietwagen, also mobil und flexibel. Gerne mit Links zu Euren Reiseberichten in die Kommentare hier. -

@scubadivers Went for the season's first dive this weekend in Ammouliani, Greece, with @slomo . The water was quite cold, 17°C on average, around 18°C on surface, we measured as cold as 15°C at 25m.
We saw several Antiopella Cristata nudibranchs ♥, moray eels, octopuses, two huge Dentex Dentex, a scorpionfish, and a school of tuna.
Unfortunately I had to sit out one dive because my ear had started hurting (it's OK again now) so I missed the octopuses, the scorpionfish, and the tuna 😭
