  1. A4. Influences — I like using existing art loosely, as a basis for my #chalkart —it’s guaranteed a crowd pleaser if folks can say “hey I recognize that”. For sewing, I like seeing what other folks do, but I mostly make what I want within my very limited skills; crochet is all from my imagination. I like making stuff nobody else would, and I have the crochet skills to do that. @MakersHour #makershour

  2. Hello! I’m Penny, current projects include a #quilt version of my reading log for 2026, a #crochet beanstalk for a costume, and hoping to start making an elaborate recycled tin crown soon. Also we’re coming to the end of rainy season so I can do bigger #chalkart in front of my house soon; right now it’s just a big plate of spaghetti. @MakersHour #makershour

  4. I came across this the other day by Todd Park in our neighbourhood. No idea who the artist is, but I think it's brilliant and wanted others to see it too!! The video is just under three minutes. I had to set my cane aside so I could hold the phone in both hands; it might lurch a bit.

Spontaneous Shadows & Playful Shadiness: Shady_Charades

A glimpse into the BasBaz darkness.

This time-lapse captures the creation of 'Shady_Charades'. It depicts loosely shady figures born from a playful sketch of chalks and colors. Created without thinking, these characters emerged spontaneously, turning a simple game into a gathering of curious shadows. A reminder that sometimes the most intriguing figures are the ones we didn't plan to draw.

    ❓️️Geeks question:
I use my #iPadPro only for Procreate. I'd like to use it for more but can't stand #iPadOS. Any tips to run #Linux via VM on M4 while keeping iOS for Procreate?

  12. Clever Street Art That Feels Made for the Spot (10 Photos)

From Massachusetts and Miami to Warsaw, Birmingham, Ecuador, France, and Spain, these works prove that a great mural does not always need a blank wall. A road sign becomes The Last Supper.
