Schätzte #DamienWalter schon seit vielen Jahren als jemanden, der m.E. geschickt und relevant z.B. mit Psychoanalyse a la #CGJung zu jonglieren versteht. Und lustig ist er auch. Meine Meinung.

1947 schreibt C.G. Jung in einem weiteren Brief über die aktive Imagination (Briefe II, S. 76).
„Betrachten Sie das Bild und beobachten Sie genau, wie es sich zu entfalten und zu verändern beginnt. Vermeiden Sie jeden Versuch, es in eine bestimmte Form zu bringen, tun Sie einfach nichts anderes als beobachten, welche Wandlungen spontan eintreten. Jedes seelische Bild, welches Sie auf diese Weise beobachten, wird sich früher oder später umgestalten, und zwar auf Grund einer spontanen Assoziation, die zu einer leichten Veränderung des Bildes führt. Ungeduldiges Springen von einem Thema zum andern ist sorgfältig zu vermeiden. Halten Sie an dem einen von Ihnen gewählten Bild fest und warten Sie, bis es sich von selbst wandelt. Alle diese Wandlungen müssen Sie sorgsam beobachten und müssen schließlich selbst in das Bild hineingehen: Kommt eine Figur vor, die spricht, dann sagen auch Sie, was Sie zu sagen haben, und hören auf das, was er oder sie zu sagen hat. Auf diese Weise können nicht nur Sie Ihr Unbewusstes analysieren, sondern Sie geben dem Unbewussten eine Chance, Sie zu analysieren. Und so schaffen Sie nach und nach eine Einheit von Bewusstsein und Unbewusstem, ohne die es überhaupt keine Individuation gibt“

C. G. Jung gibt in einem Brief von 1932 eine kurze, eindrückliche Darstellung vom Einstieg in die Aktive Imagination:
„Denken Sie sich z.B. eine Fantasie aus und gestalten Sie sie mit allen Ihnen zur Verfügung stehenden Kräften. Gestalten Sie sie, als wären Sie selbst die Fantasie oder gehörten zu ihr, so wie Sie eine unentrinnbare Lebenssituation gestalten würden. Alle Schwierigkeiten, denen Sie in einer solchen Phantasie begegnen, sind symbolischer Ausdruck für Ihre psychischen Schwierigkeiten; und in dem Maße, wie Sie sie in der Imagination meistern, überwinden Sie sie in Ihrer Psyche“ (Briefe I, S. 145).
