26 août 2018, j'ai beaucoup apprécié la superbe exposition « les Terres de l'Homme », avec 12 statues en #céramique réalisées par Lionel Ducos, dont cette femme du #Laos, installées sur la grève au bout du quai du petit port à #Douarnenez, et que la mer découvrait/recouvrait au fil de la marée.https://bretagne.en-photo.fr/2018/aout2018/#89 et suivantes pour l'ensemble des personnages captés entre 7h48 et 8h58, avec donc une différence d'hauteur d'eau de + d'1m. Au début, un #bonze a de l'eau jusqu'à la poitrine et jusqu'aux chevilles à la fin.

It's not just acheologists that put shards together.
Until the end of the 20th C. the 'Topfflicker' or potmender was a regular tradesman on markets in Central-Europe.
Pots that were considered precious were put together using glue and clamps or put together with a knittwork of metal wire.

Ochtrup, a pottery centre in the North of NRW, Germany, was famous for its ceramic water whistlle called 'Ochtrupper Nachtigal'.

To answer @leighleigh6 Not much research has been done yet on the technique of making these medieval pots.
But from the pots and shards that I own I can see that instead of turning the feet are pinched out of the botom part of the foot.
Because of the relative high firing pinched feet, like throwing rings on the outside of the pots make for less touching surface so there's less chance of pots melting together.#limburgkeramiekland
