Until the end of the 20th C. the 'Topfflicker' or potmender was a regular tradesman on markets in Central-Europe.
Pots that were considered precious were put together using glue and clamps or put together with a knittwork of metal wire.

But from the pots and shards that I own I can see that instead of turning the feet are pinched out of the botom part of the foot.
Because of the relative high firing pinched feet, like throwing rings on the outside of the pots make for less touching surface so there's less chance of pots melting together.

Les carreaux sont collés sur des filets de fibre résistant. La plaque entière peut donc ensuite être collées par vos soins sur votre maison. Ou alors avec l'aide de petites pointes être accrochée en décoration en intérieur.
