Conducted a talk introducing students of Design at CEPT, Ahmedabad to Kitab.cc and the work of visualising complexity (Manuel Lima).

Kitab.cc is a Visual Thinking Tool. Using it feels like journaling while mind-mapping. It supports note taking while also allowing you to build such maps using your notes.

I think you are right. Australia is not a #CEPT country, but there seem regulations to be implemented for #hamradio operators from CEPT countries.

Both Australia and the Netherlands are #CEPT countries. AFAIK you should be allowed to do #hamradio. But I would recommend you to contact #VERON for details.

@root42 @fuchsiii you can thank @BNetzA and #CEPT for normalizing #SpectrumUseage and giving #ISM band useages like that a general permission pending certified #CE & spectrum compliance.

Otherwise you'd have to not only apply for a permit but pay spectrum useage fees for #WiFi as well as any other #radio equipment - even if it's just a passive reciever!

#CEPT was roped in but just as they failed in #Ahmedabad Railway station design (The station is in a permanent mess despite having so many design institutes here), they failed to identify passenger preference. Now the very model on which it was followed also is failing. @TheEconomist in this podcast examines how Bogotá’s once-adored public-transport system went so wrong. 2/3
