I typically avoid stories like this. Someone else will post about it and its difficult to get at the, less obvious, core issue.
People are going to blather on about how this isn't antisemitism it's mental illness and on one level they're gonna be right.
But there is a reason that so many mentally ill people in the west have antisemitic fixations that lead to violence and that is because Jew hating is baked into western civilization. So no, this stabber isnt the problem to address.
But he is a fucking symptom.

You know, I have to wonder what the TV show #CentralPark would have been like if it was still going now, given Zohran Mamdani is the current mayor of New York.
Given that many of the show’s storylines involved the political establishment being corrupt (with a mayor that clearly didn’t have the public’s interests in mind), updating it with a Mamdani like mayor would certainly be quite the tone shift…

The view is from the North, facing South, Harlem to Midtown. In the middle, the park, sharp enough to see the ponds (top half of park) & reservoir, and even the boathouse and Bethesda Terrace.
I'm pretty sure I can even see my home! On right is the Hudson River. Not too shabby for a phone camera... Lovely view.
