@glocq I have thought about this. At the moment the code is capable of finding max-wall solutions, but it's much slower. The min-wall solver takes seconds whereas for max-walls it can take hours. Because I run the bot in the cloud, it would be a bit expensive for it to run that long every day. I have some ideas for how to optimise this, but I don't have time to implement them at the moment.

Because I do #Celtix daily I do always mentally check whether there might be a 104 wall solution. If I can't convince myself that it's impossible then I often run the solver to confirm either way. As far as I know there's only ever been one day when 104 walls was possible (day 49) and I did put that solution on the bot account.

If I do optimise the max-wall solver I will run it on all the historical puzzles to double-check that I didn't miss any 104 wall solutions.

Managed to solve #celtix today with 102 walls, which is 2 less than the maximum possible number of walls (and maximal solutions always have an even number of walls).
@OscarCunningham wonder if @OptimalCeltixBot could be modified to also show a solution with as many walls as possible?

Working my way back through the archives. The instructions say 12 - 20 walls is normal, which matches my experience; nine is my lowest so far. But some puzzles are just more complex than others, it seems.

I found it *very* difficult at first to even understand how to approach these puzzles, to the point that I said "I guess my brain just doesn't work that way" and gave up on it. Then I came back a couple of months later and gave it another try, and now I get it.
