The first issue of today's double-feature is out: Saint Moling, a very clear saintly parallel to the god Aengus mac Óg.
Moling's mythos is a wonderful case where the saint's version of the story helps to firm-up certain details of the "known" God's mythology.
It also exposes a lot of surface-area on the theory I presented in a previous issue, that Aengus and Cúchulainn form unlikely-seeming poles of a divine continuity, that can be observed in international parallels when we know where to look.

Colm (and the many, many hypostases of same) belongs to the same archetype as Cíar and Bíle, but one step down: an emanation of the Demiurge-Creator-God, but one who's more embedded in the world itself.
There are two big-name kings explored in this issue, also: Conchobar mac Nessa, and Cormac mac Airt*.
