  28. Let me rant about #condensates a propos this commentary👇. IMHO it illustrates a lot of the things that are wrong in #biology. From the top we are told "researchers are trying to work out how these ubiquitous beads form and what they do" [the condensates]. I would argue the first question should be "do they do anything?", but biologists abandoned 'Ockham's razor' long ago. The most parsimonious explanation would be condensates have no function... 1/n
