  1. November's cocktail pie: Eggnog Turkey Pie

    Eggnog is, of course, a creamy cocktail flavoured with nutmeg and a spirit.

    For my pie I made a shortcrust pastry filled with shredded turkey and pancetta in a bread(less) sauce, with a brandy and orange cranberry sauce topping.

    Suitable for many winter feasts - I took it up a hill on New Year's Day (sorry November).

  2. April's cocktail pie - Strawberry Mojito Impossible Pie

    I was feeeeling strawberries this month, so I've gone for a Strawberry Mojito - made with white rum, lime juice, mint, strawberries, sugar and soda water.

    My pie is a self-crusting(!) rum and lime custard pie, piled high with fresh strawberries and mint, and drizzled with a mint-lime glaze.
