Finished Our Missing Hearts by Celeste Ng. Admittedly, upon starting, I had my doubts.
They were 100% misplaced. This is her best work thus far. This is not a slight on her first two books, which I do recommend. Just save this one for last. What talent she has.
So incredibly well done.

Just finished Celest Ng's Our Missing Hearts.
After initial disappointment (the tone, story and style made me think it was YA, which is OK, but not when I expect A) I was riveted. Once the point of view changes a whole world of delicate thoughts and strong ideas opens up.
The world Ng describes is a fiction but it is scarily realistic. It's not hard to imagine it becoming real, we're halfway there already.
