This day just keeps bringing more blindsides from Six Flags
... Told my niece and nephew I'd get them a couple magnets each here at Carowinds and couldn't find a price list anywhere in sight.... I know they've lost their mind but I figured like $8 (which is insane) would be the max.... Bought 3 magnets and 2 of them were $13 and the other was $15...They really have lost their damn minds.

The funny thing about all of this is how much the general thoosie population shamed those of us that saw the merger as an absolutely horrible thing. Some of us called all of this bullshit from the first mention of the merger. Less competition is never good for the consumer (no matter how many parks your pass gets you into). -
My level of disgust with the new Six Flags (Cedar Fair) is increasing day by day. They wait until everyone has their passes and then just start axing rides in essentially every park. Today it's Carowinds with Nighthawk, the drop tower, and the enterprise being removed.

They talk about wanting to improve the guest experience and then they just go "oh yea, the reason you come to this park, it's gone and you can't even get your last rides on it".... Someone on ebay was selling a huge lot of used theme park maps for $5. Took the bait and bought them. There were definitely a few duds in there, but also some amazing gems from the 1990s.
