When Israeli and U.S. leaders cite #Hamas’s refusal to disarm as justification for expanded attacks, they are invoking a refusal to honour something that was never agreed. While Hamas’s disarmament is not in the deal, aid into #Palestine is, and the #USA has never reprimanded Israel for their decision to cut off aid at multiple points during the period of so-called “ceasefire”, not to mention the endless attacks on #Gaza that have not stopped. This is beyond a double standard, Hamas are expected to go beyond the terms of the deal, while Israel are granted a green light to violate it at every turn.

What was agreed is the obligation the regime is now openly admitting it has broken. The agreement is a ceasefire, the cessation of hostilities is the point. Section 4 commits the IDF to withdraw to the so-called Yellow Line and not return to the areas it withdrew from.

Thirteen members of Lebanon’s State Security apparatus were martyred and injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the vicinity of the government serail in Nabatieh, in a significant escalation that directly hit official state institutions, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon reported on Friday.

The attack came right after Lebanese government officials made the decision to engage in direct talks with the Israeli enemy at the ambassador level in Washington, before moving to official talks next week.

Since the ceasefire took effect at noon on October 10, Israel has killed at least 242 Palestinians and injured 622, according to the latest figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

On October 19 and 29 – two of the deadliest days since the latest ceasefire – Israel killed a total of 154 people.

Israel violated the #ceasefire agreement at least 282 times from October 10 to November 10, through the continuation of attacks by air, artillery and direct shootings, the Government #Media Office in Gaza reports.

Two brothers have been killed in an Israeli air raid on a vehicle between the southeastern Lebanese towns of Ain Ata and Shebaa, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), in the latest flagrant violation of a one-year-old ceasefire.

In a separate attack on Saturday, an Israeli drone struck a car near Salah Ghandour Hospital in the southern town of Bint Jbeil, injuring seven people, Lebanon’s Ministry of Health Affairs said. Two missiles struck the vehicle in the densely populated area.

Another Israeli drone attack, the third strike of the day, later hit a car in the Baraachit area, NNA reported. A photo shared by the agency showed smoke rising over blazing wreckage on a road following the attack, which the ministry says killed one and injured four, according to NNA.

None of the European, American, English politicians and media, who were shouting about the bad Hezbollah (who was attacking military targets), said anything for these huge terrorist attacks on civilian facilities. These blatant violations of the "ceasefire", of last year, became a routine because of their silence. This is complicity for another #ethniccleansing that nobody speaks about.
