Pierre Poilievre’s hate filled propagandist speech at the National Holocaust Memorial Ceremony yesterday was a disgrace to all Canadians.

He neglected to mention the millions of innocent victims exterminated by Nazis, or condemn the current disturbing rise in fascism across America and Europe openly embraced by his own elite supporter Elon Musk.

Ultimately, Pierre’s true fear for the future is a Canadian culture that is aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice).

That is a culture that would reject a Prime Minister who intentionally refused to recognize more than two genders exist.

That is a culture that would reject an illiberal autocrat hell bent on removing established civil rights and supports while openly embracing big money corporate interests over Canadian values and beliefs.

This is not our future Prime Minister, this is just another RW populist looking to further dehumanize and attack those culturally aware in Canada.

Trump’s success has emboldened #MapleMaga to believe they can win the culture war with Pierre Poilievre, they simply need to relentlessly attack their ultimate enemy, societal awareness.

Why doesn’t #cdnmedia call out Pierre Poilievre on his refusal to submit to national security clearance? Passing security clearance should be made law for any incumbent Prime Minister.
