@cbcnews Air Canada could have averted those expenses by simply negotiating in good faith and paying flight attendants for all work. The company should take the passengers compensation out of the undeserved salaries and bonuses of the executives who, by unethically extracting unpaid labour, necessitated the strike.

Seeing a lot of handwringing in the news about the effect of the #PostalStrike on consumer’s holiday shopping and possible future damage to the corporation as folks switch to other carriers, but virtually nothing about what the employees are striking for.

Who else remembers that time that #Walmart shut down a store in #Jonquiere, QC after its staff unionized, then painted the whole thing grey and left it there as a warning to others?
