Reposted from @cityofthousandoaks: From November 3, 2025, to January 14, 2026, the City of Thousand Oaks is inviting interested parties to assist in identifying the unmet needs of lower-income persons and households in Thousand Oaks that could potentially be addressed with a portion of the City’s annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) entitlement funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The City also invites non-profit housing and community development providers to apply for such funds.

👉 Be in the know, the federal requirements have changed! 📢 On Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM, a “Needs Assessment Public Hearing” will be held in the Boardroom at City Hall (2100 E Thousand Oaks 3rd Floor). Applicants for the CDBG grants, as well as other interested parties, are encouraged to attend to learn more.
