CD84 may be found in platelets, myeloid & lymphoid leukocytes: it is a type I membrane protein with 2 extracellular Immunoglobulin-like folds. Signal peptide: (1-21); extracellular region: (22-259); TM domain (224-246); intracellular Y-phospho-IDR (247-345). The soluble form found in urine has no signals cward of R131.
