Rayados GK Santiago Mele saw a 2nd yellow for this, leading to a (converted) PK and a massive advantage for Cruz Azul that tips this #CCCFever series in their favor. Mele was needlessly reckless - esp on a yellow! - but for whatever reason, after many viewings I'm still not quite sold on the call.

Over and over again through the years, Mexican and Tico sides show incredible ruthlessness and opportunism in #CCCFever. Even now, maybe 10% of US/Canadian teams are anywhere near as cold-blooded in this tournament. It's not just about money - so hard to make a deep run without that killer instinct.
