  11. Roger Kean has passed away. He founded the computer magazines CRASH! (#Spectrum) and Zzap!64 (#CBM64), mainly focused on gaming.

    They were known for their style and humor, not unknown in the trade but they had it in spades. The distinctive covers sometimes bordered on the controversial. Last but not least, they weren't published in London but Ludlow (pop 10 000), Shropshire.

    At it's peak CRASH! was the biggest computer mag in the country with 100,000 copies.
