Anheuser-Busch's #BudLight #beer brand has been facing a #boycott from the #LGBTQ community since April 2023 after the company #caved to pressure from #RightWing critics who objected to the brand's decision to work with a #transgender #influencer. #GLAAD said that Anheuser-Busch has only itself to blame for the ongoing boycott, arguing that the company's decision to kowtow to the pressure of "#extremist #bullies" has left them #vulnerable and without support from either side. GLAAD CEO Sarah Kate Ellis believes that the LGBTQ community engaged in its own boycott of Bud Light, and that the company's sales have plunged as a result.
