Since I do clicker training with Shinjuku every evening she now expects it to happen and has even started to wait for me on the box where we start if I don’t call her.

She is been trained (by me, I'm also a dog trainer) to not go inside the kitchen (very small one lots of dangers) So she waits at the door (picture). She also don't touch any food left alone on the table, comes when called, get inside a crate, and give me lots of LOVE.
You can train a Cat. Get a cliker, a bunch of treats and pacience, lots of it.

@salixsericea Let it go slowly. That is what will work best for all of them. The more you “force” them into uncomfortable situations, the more they will get into scuffles and stress. Let them spend time apart, let them get comfortable with being in the same house, without having to be right in each other’s faces.

Harness training is progressing. She’s still not entirely happy about it, but at least it’s not like she’s had a paralyze spell cast on her when the harness is on. The plan is to only let her out in a harness eventually. Currently she’s still about 50% an outdoor cat. Maybe it’ll get easier once she’s a bit older and not constantly on the move chasing stuff.

“Leave it alone!” we ask, but we might not be giving them a good enough reason.
Cats want to be cooperative. But they need a good reason to NOT do something.
That's where the communication comes in. If we have an old version of what they want to play with, give it to them.
Now we can play the training game -- Yours and Mine.

Cats often love houseplants. Which is not always a good thing for any of us.
As a Cat Appreciator, one of the few sacrifices I’ve made was having to give up a variety of houseplants. The ones that are poisonous to cats, like all the bulbs, from tulips to onion, which are toxic to cats.
We need to err on the side of caution.

It is almost like a wind is blowing in their face, they are trying to hard to convey this “wanting.”
This went on until I finished eating, when he could Show Me what he wanted; the leftover white cheddar cheese sauce from my one bowl meal. He couldn’t show it to me before. It first had to be created, and then become a form he knew he was allowed to have.
