I’ve just woken up and am sitting in the glow of the Christmas tree quietly drinking tea with the cat (who has been in hiding for 2 days) sat on my lap purring away. It’s time for #threegoodthings
1. All the family was together on Christmas for the first time since 2010.
2. Thanks to everyone pitching in after my Christmas cry my kitchen is surprisingly clean. Even if none of my crockery or utensils where put away in the right places.
3. Yesterday really was all about the little person. Sometimes to the point of frustration but I guess that is what Christmas is really all about. Once I ceased to be peace maker and maid I spent three hours teaching a three year old the importance of being gentle and not screaming and running at the cat every time you see it which is why she’s brave enough to come out now!#3goodthings #catmum #christmasmeltdown #ChristmasMessage #todayisanotherday

1. Realised that this place has become my automatic choice when looking to fill a few minute, whereas the other places felt like ways to kill time, this place feels like a way to enhance spare moments.
2. A grooming session turned into a long cuddle with the cat that in turn ended with us both being asleep! She can’t be beaten as a buddy for times when you’re feeling rubbish.
3. More time spent playing with paints proving my mantra that you don’t have to be good at things to enjoy them, making art for arts sake is enough.
