#CathyDennis: Even though #KylieMinogue wasn’t the first artist to be offered the song, I don’t believe it was meant to go to anyone other than Kylie.
I'm gonna ignore the 25 YEARS angle *really* hard!
PS: The Netflix doc on Kylie is also great.

"Everybody move" - Cathy Dennis
See, her last single "Too many walls" was a very clever love song. And we know that she can sing, and write killer pop songs.
So why does this tune sound like something Five Star would turn down as too basic?
With those strobes and that much dry ice, don't think we're in 1980 any more, folks.

Waterloo Sunset
An English classic released on this day in 1967.
“Dirty old river, must you keep rolling
Flowing into the night?
People so busy, make me feel dizzy
Taxi light shines so bright
But I don't need no friends
As long as I gaze on Waterloo sunset
I am in paradise”#TheKinks #DavidEssex #CathyDennis #DamonAlbarn #DavidBowie #TheCrouchEndFestivalChorus #JacksonBrowne #DefLeppard #PeterGabriel #TheJam #FirstAidKit #ColinHay

For March my #StupidAccordionTricks feature songs written by and made famous by women. This one is a real case of passing the Bechdel Test but not seeing the forest for the trees, #KatyPerry's #IKissedAGirl by #CathyDennis, from way back in 2008!
