🐦 Titles containing catchphrases had lower view counts and no impact on citation numbers
🌍 Titles mentioning specific geographic locations had both lower view counts and fewer citations
📣 The presence of a colon in the title was associated with higher usage and citation rates!

I am old, and some of my meme-references have vanished from collective memory. The Dr. Katz show on Comedy Central in the late 1990s engraved one catchphrase in my brain: "That's how they getcha!" As #HyperCapitalism accelerates toward the Rapture Of The Venture Capitalists, I use it more and more. Can't find the .gif of it any more, so I made my own.

It helps is if you give minor characters a catchphrase. Or a specific gesture, or item of clothing. That extra bit of detail you can throw in when the MC meets them on two separate occasions can help the readers remember them.
