Apparently, this is a Gatekeeper butterfly visiting the grounds of #CastleCannon

So I'm predominantly on Google Home at #Castlecannon, and when I got an email inviting me to convert to Gemini, I was all, "Ooh, why not?"

I'll tell you why not. Because it's a steaming pile of turd that has almost wrecked years of training.

I've had to retrain it to play my favourite radio station. I used to be able to control my Samsung TV with it. Now all I can do is turn it off and on. And I keep finding the Nest thermostat on 20C even though all the learning is turned off!

There's nothing like a civilised breakfast in the grounds of #CastleCannon in the morning.

The wife is officially old! She wants a Greenhouse for #CastleCannon 😱 🤯

So the new floor is down at #CastleCannon, and yet I spent most of the day watching the fitter like a hawk, crapping myself that he would damage the flat network cable I have, weaving in and out of the nooks and crannies.

At one point, he asked me to test it. I turned the telly on and "No Network found" 😱

The silly sod had pulled the RJ45 out of the 4-port switch behind the TV! #Phew

@steevc Fortunately, the council #CastleCannon is in only requires three wheelie bins. General, Recycle and Garden. We don't pay for Garden waste, although I hear some cheeky councils make an extra charge for that, which is taking the p, given councils sell that as compost.

So I've been painting at #CastleCannon because, of course, with four days off with the Easter Bank holiday, the wife will plan lots of jobs for you. Don't even think of parking your bum.

I think I've a flaky RJ45 connector. If I pull my desk out, the Network goes off. Anyway. I am connected to the BB. WIFI is up as all the Google Hub/Minis and Alexa are connected, but for some reason, the two wifi plugs (TP-link) refuse to connect? Very strange.

She generally answers "Probably not" when asked if it will rain at #CastleCannon today.

This morning, the response to the question is: "Not for the next few hours," which means either way she's right, but doesn't actually answer my question!

@Steve The grounds of #CastleCannon have been overrun with them for the last few weeks. Things have gotten that bad, I'm wondering what flag I can raise on the flagpole to demonstrate my displeasure.

As most of you know, I do have a flagpole in the grounds of #CastleCannon, but I won't be flying the England flag any time soon, given the family who have just bought the house that backs onto ours and the three houses at the bottom of our road are all Indian.

TBH, I should be able to fly my country's flag, and it's not right that doing so could get me branded as racist, so opinion is making my judgments for me.

And you think you've got problems! It was pigging cold and overcast/grey at #Castlecannon this morning. Google said it was going to continue to be cloudy and "Stay in bed if I were you" 11C day today, so Pete stuck a hoodie on. It's currently 20C and rising with nice sunshine at the office. 🥵

AMAZING just two days ago, the lawns of #CastleCannon were brown and scorched, and now the groundsman will have to cut the damn things!

I think the missus might have had a trying time at work. When she came home this morning, she said: "As soon as you've gone, I'm going to put my pyjamas on and I'm not taking them off again until I have to go back to work in three days' time!"

Sometimes at #CastleCannon it's a godsend that we have a revolving door policy when it comes to her job. 😟
