So the new floor is down at #CastleCannon, and yet I spent most of the day watching the fitter like a hawk, crapping myself that he would damage the flat network cable I have, weaving in and out of the nooks and crannies.

At one point, he asked me to test it. I turned the telly on and "No Network found" 😱

The silly sod had pulled the RJ45 out of the 4-port switch behind the TV! #Phew

Now that the dust has settled, #CastleCannon was incredibly underwhelmed with the final Gavin & Stacey. The cast seemed to be working extra hard to create comedy; it didn't come across naturally. The 'party' that led to Smithy oversleeping was a prime example, with the cast acting like they were having a good time rather than looking like they were having a good time. Pam (Alison Steadman) seemed wooden in her (stressed) performances, plus it didn't help that many loved characters were missing. Yeah, yeah. I know Doris is dead in real life.

Has anyone got a spare room for a few weeks? I need to escape #CastleCannon and the constant #NewKitchen discussions and purchases. This morning at 𝟬𝟱:𝟭𝟬! The wife wanted to discuss and browse on her iPad a replacement radiator for the £45 one I bought ten days ago because [admittedly] now we've blocked off the 2nd door to the front room, the small radiator (that was always there) is not powerful enough to heat the kitchen.
