@GutterPoetry There also seems to be an assumption that you are only a Human being if you are also a #MobilePhoneZombie there are still quite a few people, admittedly tending more to the grey haired that don't walk around permanently attached to a "#Smartphone" if I were to go full Tin foil Hat I'd suspect it is yet another attempt to cull the old & infirm to save on Pensions & NHS IIRC they are currently gradually switching off Landlines that have backup power in the event of the more often occurring power-cuts which like the #IDiocy of Government #IDCard more than probably outsourced to a contributing "Lobbyist", #IDCards will have a non zero #bodycount as old people will not be able to call the emergency services when they need it & in the case of the #BritCard when the Database is inevitably stolen/leaked , if not just sold to raise funds first. It will cause many of those who have had their whole lives stolen to die by a wide variety of causes.
