Town of Cary Weekly Events Guide – August 24–31, 2026

The final week of August brings live music, comedy, sports, local government meetings and a celebration of one of Cary’s signature traditions. Highlights include performances by Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, Spin Doctors and WAR, along with the PPA Pickleball Tour’s North Carolina Open.

“Beyond the Booths: 50 Years of Lazy Daze” also continues throughout the week, giving the community an opportunity to celebrate the history and legacy of Cary’s popular Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival.

The weeklong celebration of Lazy Daze begins Monday. “Beyond the Booths” recognizes 50 years of the Cary tradition and its impact on the community.
