Well, that really hurts... called out of work last night because of car issues. Looks like it's at least just a battery issue, but geeze does it hurt the wallet. It doesn't help that apparently with VWs some system needs to be reset to calibrate itself to the new battery, so had to call around to shops in the area to see who could squeeze me in, with such short notice. Life is just... Such a blast.

Freaking hell, since we are headed for the deep freeze I checked all the tire pressures yesterday and leveled everything up.
This morning my right rear is 100% FLAT. Sticky stem or something? Grab the inflator/jumper box.
It’s DEAD. Plug it in, charges to 6.6V and stops. Voltage at the battery posts is 6.6V too… Battery is toast and hardly a “drop in” replacement. Barely 18 months old.
Grab the other car, visit HD to get a new jump box and inflator. Reinflate tire, it’s now holding just fine at 35 psi where it’s supposed to be.
Ain’t 20 year old vehicles fun?
