Let me use my Darkwing Duck re-watch for one of my occasional "Cartoon Crushes" segments, this time, not surprising, Gosalyn Mallard, born Waddlemeyer.

She's a lively, spunky girl that loves sports, video games, comics, questioning and eagerly breaking rules.

She hates being treated like a child, and while she's usually wild and energetic, she can also be caring and affectionate as she more than once shows towards her adoptive father Drake Mallard.

She's brave and even dabbles in being a heroine herself, donning mask, cape and bow.

With Gosalyn I'd be happy with both variations:
As actual crush, at her age joining her in her adventures, but also as a certainly proud "father" as she's an awesome daughter with a great sense of justice. ♥️

And that's why she's a character I love:
She's an icon of kindness and care, humble, well-mannered and friendly.

She deserves to be told how strong she is to care about her family mostly alone and how brave she is to go through all the dangers for them but also the rats she befriends.

I wanna pet those lovely cheeks, tell her all that and help her with her hard work! ♥️

So, a lovely mouse and mother.

And this also is the main reason why she's so awesome!

Her lovely look aside, she's a loving and caring mother that has so much on her hands while caring for her four children all alone, one of them ill through most of the story.

She's friendly and caring and in the events of the story she proves how she can overcome every fear with her dedication to her kindness and love for others, no matter how scary. Cats, humans, owls and more!

And now, for the fanboy-ing:

First off: Look at her movie design! She's so damn cute and beautiful!

I absolutely love her fluffy cheeks and the red cape looks so nice on her.
In the movie she also aquires a red and gold pendant which also fits the color of her fur very nicely.

And those lovely, cute whiskers and nose! Mice are just lovely, right?

And along the movie she features so many expressions full of care, worry and compassion.

First off some trivia for those not knowing her:

She doesn't have an official first name as she's always just called Mrs. Brisby / Frisby, or Mrs. Jonathan Brisby / Frisby after her late husband.

Thus, many fans adopted the name Elizabeth for her, after her voice actress in the movie, Elizabeth Hartman.

She's the widowed mother of four young children, busy to take care of them all, get enough food and tend one of her son's illness.

And as if that wasn't the case before already, the new movies gave him SUCH a damn cute, fluffy model that even improved from movie to movie, GOD LOOK AT THE FUR! Cuddle those fluffy cheeks!

So, yeah, a friendly tech nerd that's also cute?

Alright, very special episode of my "Cartoon Crushes" list because today was Sonic 3 movie day. Also...possibly one of two...or very, very few male characters, because my RL romantic and sexual orientation doesn't apply to fictional characters:

I don't even have thaat much to say, because, it's obvious he's damn cute, right? 😁

But also: damn smart, loves tech, a great, loyal friend.
I'm sure he also dabbles in Linux, because that would totally fit. ♥️

As her name implies she's the artist of the family, dabbling in different media and not afraid to get dirty in the process.

In one episode she's basically forced to use her skills for commercial "mass production", something that visibly hurts her mood and inspiration.

Poor girl, those scenes just made me wanna hug her and tell her how awesome and inspiring she is. ♥️

In some dubs she incorrectly has male voice actors.
According to one creator she's on the autism spectrum.

In my very irregular "Cartoon Crushes" series of posts, which are not necessarily all "crushes" but in general characters I love for a reason or another:
"Da Vinci", one of the dalmatians from "101 Dalmatian Street".

She's lovely for several reasons:
I mean, look at her: she's cute, has a friendly smile, big ears and several of her dots are actually colored in several colors. ♥️

To be honest: mostly because she's a bit chubby, I love that.
Also, the little shyness is cute and her hair looks great with the color of her sweater, for the bit of time she gets to wear it.

So, yeah. Not much of her in the movie, but I consider her cute, good-hearted, caring and curious, and that's lovely.

I'd love to learn more about her when she's not falling for horny never-do-well charmers like Fritz. 😁😅

And that's very much all we learn, not just about Dee-Dee, but all of the three girls.
Because of this it's hard to really differentiate between the three's personalities.
Due to gestures, mimic and behavior when it comes to sexual encounters, though, Dee-Dee seems to be a bit shy and cute, but certainly very open.

With the three characters otherwise so similar, why Dee-Dee especially?

that's into philosophic discussions and finding the "truth" and meaning of life.
Along with her friend she seems to be interested in making sure Black people, depicted as crows in the movie, get their rights and have their culture understood and supported.

In that, though, all of them are a bit naive and blue-eyed, not certain how to do it correctly, as they ultimately have no clue about Black people and their lifes.

BUT they have good intentions and pure hearts.

Ya know what?
Let me start with Dee-Dee, the girl from Fritz the Cat that I just mentioned.

Now, the movie is from 1972, so, it's not really impressive, visually, forgive me that.

Dee-Dee, like her two friends, doesn't have too much of a role, they're mostly a sexual fling for Fritz, so the three don't really have THAT much to say about.

But well:
