My car is broken down again, it can't be driven on long journeys. Cracked intercooler pipes is the apparent diagnosis, a notorious problem with the Renault K9K DCi 1.5 used in Nissan, Dacia and Renault cars. Mechanic says it's an easy but tedious job and they will need a day, not available until 20th Feb. The main reason I still have a car is for long journeys. I am missing Roller Derby training with both of my teams as a result and I'm on a downer about it. 😞

Fuuuuck, this single-parenting thing is hard. I've been doing great, but I had a migraine today and grocery shopping also needed to happen, and to top it off, I also had car problems requiring a repair in 90F temperatures. Not fun things to deal with all at the same time. Oh, and we have a hurricane making landfall within the next 24 hours, so curbside grocery shopping isn't currently available.

Radiator decided to spring a leak this morning. After a bottle of stop leak and a gallon and a half of coolant it seems to be holding now.
Don't need it to hold forever, just for long enough to get the cash for a radiator replacement plus other things that may pop up due to the issue.

So yesterday I was out doing what I can’t talk about right now, and my car started making knocking noises (like a lawn mower), as I was trying to get to a shop, my engine began to limit the power to it. So I limped it to the shop. Glad I made it, just as I got there it shut off.
Engine light was blinking and oil light came on. 😒 It was 2 quarts of oil low somehow, so not sure what is going on.
