While Typhoon #Gaemi / #CarinaPH won’t landfall in the #Philippines 🇵🇭 it is exacerbating the southwest #monsoon (#habagat).

In this attached MODIS satellite photo from NASA’s Aqua Satellite from 3 days ago, the whole of Luzon, the country’s largest island where Manila is, is hidden by clouds. The Visayas can just be seen peeking through the break in the clouds at the center bottom of the image with #Taiwan 🇹🇼 at the top left corner.
