Every small act has power. Just spoke with an elder family member in a rural area. She was excited to tell me there was a group of free speech protestors with handwritten signs in front of her local courthouse. She was stopped at a light with a bunch of other cars. She was the only one to honk in solidarity, getting cheers from the protestors. #protest #CareForEachOther

The DPSS Toy Loan Program is hosting its annual Backpack and School Supply Drive now through the end of July 2025 to benefit low-income children in L.A. County. Toy Loan serves approximately 30,000 residents annually at over 30 locations. Donate backpacks and school supplies today by calling (323) 986-2741 or emailing toyloan @ dpss.lacounty.gov. The deadline to donate is Thursday, July 31, 2025.
