We took a trip to Panama City Beach for a few days. It was another nice break from Tallahassee, but also a break from the screens.

In an effort to stay ahead and keep learning, I’ve been working on learning Python through Mimo as well as cybersecurity through TryHackMe. I’ve earned some impressive streaks - over 40 consecutive days - as well as being ranked in the top 3% of THM’s 2 million users. I was bummed that I lost those streaks because of the trip, but quickly realized that it’s okay to take a break from it all and be with what’s really important: My family.

I told myself when I started this new journey over a year ago that while I need to stay ahead and reach my goals, I also can not burn myself out and tune out the family. It’s balancing act. I got back at it again on Thursday - starting back at one.

It's okay to take a break. It's also okay to fall off the wagon. Just get back on and keep moving.
