So they decided not to do my wife's Cardioversion today after all that.
As soon as they did an ECG they found her heart had gone back into normal rhythm.
No clue why it happened that way, so they are going to do (yet) more investigations.
In a way that's good news, but it's incredibly frustrating. -
It's going to be a strange day here in the schloss.
Mainly - my wife is going into hospital at lunchtime for a general anaesthetic for an Electrical Cardioversion to sort out her Atrial Fibrillation. Hopefully.
She's had an abnormal heart beat for a couple of years and The Drugs Don't Work - well, not very well.

It's a safe, common procedure, but, you know......Theoretically I could have gone to the Petanque club while they are doing the business, but the club is closed to the proletariat because there's a national competition on at Western Park (I think it's to select the UK team for the international games).
I suspect my mind wouldn't have been on my boules anyway!I trust your Saturday will bring zero worries, and 100% joy.

Today is the five year anniversary of the last time (about the 23rd time) I was electroconverted back into sinus rhythm, ending my last episode of atrial fibrillation. I am grateful for this extended afib-free run!
