It's going to be a strange day here in the schloss.
Mainly - my wife is going into hospital at lunchtime for a general anaesthetic for an Electrical Cardioversion to sort out her Atrial Fibrillation. Hopefully.
She's had an abnormal heart beat for a couple of years and The Drugs Don't Work - well, not very well.
She'll be coming home late this afternoon.(If you want to know about Cardioversion then here's a couple of links
https://www.bhf.org.uk/informationsupport/treatments/cardioversion
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardioversion )Worried? Moi?
It's a safe, common procedure, but, you know......Theoretically I could have gone to the Petanque club while they are doing the business, but the club is closed to the proletariat because there's a national competition on at Western Park (I think it's to select the UK team for the international games).
I suspect my mind wouldn't have been on my boules anyway!I trust your Saturday will bring zero worries, and 100% joy.

New publication on persistent atrial fibrillation and cardioversion outcomes
Can signal complexity help predict early recurrence after electrical cardioversion? We explored this question using Multi-Scale Entropy (MSE) on ECG signals.
