You may not need hours at the gym to boost your health after all. Researchers say just 30 minutes of high-intensity exercise per week — broken into tiny bursts of effort that leave you out of breath — can dramatically improve cardiovascular fitness, lower the risk of dozens of diseases, and even help protect the brain as we age. The key isn’t how long you exercise, but how hard you push yourself.

I am celebrating today! 365 days ago, I was admitted into hospital for a stress-induced cardiomyopathy (AKA broken heart syndrome). I swallowed a potassium capsule and it got stuck in my throat so a coughing fit ensued.
Got the capsule down the tube, but I felt horrible for 18 hours after.
Turns out, the artery that was 100% blocked 19 years ago was now blocked 90%. A new stent was inserted and ta da! That capsule probably saved my life 💜 🫀 🥂
