Oh, look! Yet another #deepdive into the mesmerizing world of cardboard art. 🎨 Apparently, the zenith of human achievement now involves crafting 500 pieces of "aesthetic" chaos. 🙄 Next up: finding enlightenment in IKEA assembly manuals. 🛠️

Cooking the wheat glue for the second layer of the T-Rex skull.

This time I’m making it thicker because I need it to work as filler and add volume.

Realized I hadn’t posted in quite a while. I’ve been lurking, readying more than speaking. I’m not into oversharing. I’be been drawing and writing in my sketchbook though. I cherish privacy in the intrusive world.

I just thought I’d leave this drawing from a recent show here. Have a good day.

Koi carp automata step 2

Today I woke up earlier to lay the first layer of paper on the fish.

These are thin layers of newspaper glued with wheat paste.

Hopefully? It’ll be dry enough by tomorrow so I can start to refine the shape with some kind of dough (I’be not decided which dough yet).

See you on step 3

Looking at the simplicity of marks and their contrast in black and white. Storing some sculpture from the IGOE SERIES created for the REfUSE exhibition. I’ve nested the two works and I still love the combination of marks when they are nested. I need to make more. Especially with that lovely water aqua.
Gonna be shooting some documentation when I get a chance.

Well this might seem kinda random but my head's pretty random these days.... I've become obsessed with these guys and their _cardboard pinball tables_. How cool is this? Seriously, let me know if this is cool or not. :blobcatthinkingeyes:
