I have long thought we needed to reconsider how we do streets/sidewalks because of the multiplicity of ways to get around that we have and how even existing multiuse path treatments put people in conflict with one another.

I think there need to be trials because no matter how you design, if people don't behave as you are asking them to and hoping they will, it won't work.

But I'd like to see non-car lanes that work by speed. E-scooters and certain classes of e-cycles separate from acoustic bikes and low speed e-cycles. And there are more modes than that.

We gotta figure this shit out quickly because delaying just gives car-centrists more time to organize to oppose.
