I've another trip this week and another new city for me.
I'll be visiting Toulouse, France for 5 days, with a day trip to Carcassonne booked.
Camera and plenty of 35mm film ready, but any tips, especially for Toulouse?
I've pencilled in a visit to the Space Museum, Cite de L'Espace and a football game Saturday night. Besides following my nose, where else?

A round of #Carcassone where I won? Apparently it can happen. I won by 14 points, mostly because of getting points for the Fairy and the Dragon taking some of my partner’s towns.

Board Game night with family! We haven't played Carcassone for a while. @dohappybelove 's father is here and he played for the first time. Nearly won without trying. Said it is best to not try to win in order to win. You can see little one trying to help @seanbala out (see foot at the bottom). Went better than the last game night where almost all of us got Covid... LOL

Today we played a game of #carcassone. It was a surprise ending when my partner won with farming at the end.

Près de Carcassonne, un méga-projet logistique menace 18 ha de terres agricoles
« Parmi les situations dangereuses pouvant affecter les différentes installations, figurent des risques de rupture de barrage ou de digue, ou encore de mouvements de terrain et de retrait-gonflement des argiles »
Depuis mai 2023, le collectif Laisse Béton Salvaza (LBS) initié par la Confédération paysanne de l’Aude, s’oppose à un vaste projet d’aménagement consistant notamment à artificialiser 18 hectares de terres agricoles à l’ouest de Carcassonne, entre l’autoroute A61 et l’aéroport. Si la plateforme logistique de la société immobilière Axtom voit le jour, les conséquences environnementales pourraient être dramatiques – une partie du site étant classée en zone inondable.
Rendez-vous le 5 avril prochain dans les rues de Carcassonne afin de dénoncer l’extension de la zone d’activité, lors de la rando’action « La Fureur du Dragondin ».

Nachdem es mit #Carcassone nichts wurde, wollte K1 unbedingt „schnell Schach lernen“. Er hat zwar die Regeln zum Großteil verstanden, aber die Strategie war eher so wie bei #Katar gestern 😂 Er wollte einfach nur Figuren schlagen. Jetzt hat er auch verstanden, dass Schach einfach zu lernen aber schwer zu meistern ist. ☝🏽

Things like boardgames such as #Carcassone. On the one hand they don't require as much talking, but on the other hand that also means there is more room for social interaction.
