Ok, #CentralCoast folks, looks like it’s our turn to take the brunt of this next #AtmosphericRiver storm. For those of us in Paso or (somewhat) inland areas the impacts likely won’t be dangerous. But if you’re near a burn scar or in an area prone to flash flooding, take note.
There’s a good update from @weatherwest on the #WeatherWest blog. https://weatherwest.com/archives/22604
At #TablasCreek, we’re expecting this to push us over our normal winter rainfall (!).

Despite the good rain that we got last weekend, only slight improvement in monitoring the #drought in the region, mainly along the Big Sir coast.

We’re enjoying a lovely rainstorm of the type Paso Robles sees only rarely. We’ve had measurable rainfall 28 hours in a row, totaling 2.08”. This is on the heels of another storm that dropped 1.38” on Friday. And it’s still coming down. Yet no hour has seen more than 0.2” out at #TablasCreek. That’s good for absorption. Our creek hasn’t started running yet. And three days in, we’re already at 83% of what we’d expect for all of December.
