This time I got the plugin #hybrid version of the #Renault #Captur as a loaner. Electric range 50km WLTP (probably 30km in reality). It costs as much as a #Jeep #Avenger full electric #EV and more than the #MG4. I don’t get why people buy these. It’s inferior to the full EV Jeep in every way. More complex, reduced boot due to both technologies. Electric range barely enough to get to the shop and back, speedier acceleration still wants to use ICE. Heavier than pure petrol. Worst of both worlds.

I find many #carAudio systems have poor balance between frequency areas and difficult to adjust. The common cliche seems to be that lots of bass and lots of punch equals great audio. Never mind being able to hear any detail. Our #eUp actually, with its limited system, does a better job than many more premium cars. I found that the older #Tesla Model 3 LR system also suffered in that regard (haven’t properly investigated the new one). The #Renault #Captur has been impossible to adjust right.
