My head in the definitely in the sand.Lately, I walk in the woods when the fraying fabric of society frightens me to my core. Since the industry I work in is turning canabalistic in ways too absurd for cinema, I spend Saturdays down rabbit holes full of peer reviewed studies and historical letters, authored by logical humans with the capacity to reason.

Like @WelshAdventurer I find spaceships fascinating.
For my first game of Captain’s Log, I created an Edenist Bitech spaceship called "Sinope" and worked hard, adapting it for the #StarTrek universe. Ships in Star Trek are slow, so slow.

#CaptainsLog: On Android, the Recorder app is awesome: record voice clip, immediately get on-device transcription, for free.
On iOS, we just don’t have that. Gotta turn to apps. Monthly fees, sends my knowledge for cloud processing and data mining, no easy import/export.
There’s gotta be an easy, low cost, on-device way to record (and keep) voice recordings on iOS, transcribe the text, and save both to #Obsidian for my journaling. Any #StarTrek #ObsidianMD #BuJo #NoteNerds figure this out?

We received an urgent message from Starfleet Command. A science vessel was under attack by Klingons and required immediate assistance.
The London arrived to find the science vessel disabled and adrift. The Klingons were closing in, weapons charged.
I ordered the London to engage, and a fierce battle ensued. We took heavy damage, but ultimately emerged victorious.
After rescuing the science vessel's crew, I received a personal message from Starfleet Command commending my bravery and decisive action.
As we set course for our next mission, I have personally contemplated the cost of serving in Starfleet. The constant threat of danger is a heavy burden, but I know it was a burden I had willingly accepted.
