  1. @neanderthalsnavel Eh, that’s not the problem with #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld. The real problem with that movie is that #SamWilson just does the easy thing with zero consequences. In #CaptainAmericaTheFirstAvenger, #SteveRogers makes the difficult decision to down the plane and forgo a life with #SharonCarter. In #CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier, he chooses to go against #SHIELD despite the fact that it has federal backing, because what they are doing is wrong. In #CaptainAmericaCivilWar, he decides to go against not just the #USA but other #Avengers, many of whom are his close friends, because they are opposing the freedom of others who wish to do good in the world.

    In #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld, the toughest decision #SamWilson has before him is to fight the #POTUS, but it’s like, either that or watch the #USA burn to the ground, and #ThunderboltRoss didn’t indicate at all that he wouldn’t have wanted him to fight #RedHulk if he had to.

  2. CW: Avengers: Infinity War Spoilers

    @lnxw37b2 Haha wait no 😂

    So in #AvengersInfinityWar, #Thanos snapped with the Infinity Gauntlet, killing 50% of the population on planet Earth. The #Avengers get dejected and fall apart (due in part to the events of #CaptainAmericaCivilWar), but there’s only like one movie that takes place between #AvengersInfinityWar and #AvengersEndgame, #BlackWidow. So we didn’t not really see any supervillains at all in the #MCU during The Snap era.

    We should see supervillains after The Snap as well as before it. Unless somehow #Thanos snapped half the population but all the villains 😂

    Unfortunately it seems marvel has run its course.

    15 years of non-stop action hero flics gets old after a while.

    True. While they’ve delved into some other genres, such as antiterrorism thriller with #FalconAndTheWinterSoldier, spy suspense with #SecretInvasion, and horror with #WerewolfByNight, most of them have missed the mark. BTW I think #WerewolfByNight is a close contender for the best post #AvengersEndgame #Disney produced #MCU film, I’d highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it already. I still think #ShangChi was better though.

    I still maintain the first Ironman was the best Marvel movie.

    IDK. I think that #CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier and #CaptainAmericaCivilWar were fantastic, alongside the #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy films and the first #Thor movie.

  4. Also, for the record, isn’t Stark recruiting Spider-Man and then deploying him to Germany WITHOUT making the kid sign the Sokovia Accords kinda a violation of said Accords? Just curious.

  5. Watching Captain America: Civil War for, like, the 200th time and I swear the only thing that REALLY gets me in this movie (and there’s A LOT I’m willing to hand wave) is when Peter Parker says he nailed an Algebra quiz.

    Sure, sure he can stick to walls and shit, but genius kids do not take algebra in high school.
