I'm staying on First Hill this visit and the street names are all familiar from elsewhere nearby but the intersecting street grids in the vicinity of Union & Boylston are throwing me off. Then there's the issue of University and Seneca streets disappearing before Broadway, leading to discontinuity of the Jesus Christ Made Seattle Under Protest streets east of Broadway.

Rite Aid acquired Bartell Drugs, which had 2 stores in/near Capitol Hill (Seattle). Rite Aid had a 3rd.
Rite Aid closed all 3. Closing 2 makes sense, but I don't understand 3.
1 Rite Aid/Bartell store was equidistant from the other 2. Even if only 50% of customers moved, the remaining store's pharmacy traffic would have doubled. How could that not have been profitable?
Rite Aid moved rxes to a Walgreens. That store has 10-20 people in the rx pickup line all day.

04-15-2023 - It was another rainy Saturday but many turned out in #Seattle for the @rise4abortionrightsseattle (Insta) protest event.
Many spoke passionately about body and reproductive autonomy.
A local business owner from Capitol Hill, the Ritual @ritualpnw (Insta) delivered an excellent, detailed speech calling out large #PNW companies ( #Amazon #Boeing #Microsoft etc) for #Republican campaign contributions, lack of paying taxes, and consistently exploiting and underpaying workers.
#Women were called upon and delivered in essential employment fields (medical, educational), carrying the U.S. through a pandemic and their reward was stripping their rights away. Also part of the speech was calling out #Democrats with their continued lack of action.
