Male Palm Cockatoos are famous for being the rock stars of the bird world. They are the only non-human animals known to craft and use musical instruments for mating displays.

The male Palm Cockatoo will:Snap a thick branch off a live tree or find a large, hard seed pod. Whittle it down with his massive beak to custom specifications (some prefer short and stubby, others like them long and thin).
