I’d like to get back into #HillRunning this year, the last few years have been very lean due to a recurring injury I picked up in 2017 (but it was worth it, https://aye.tf/2017/06/12/eagle-rock-and-ben-more-assynt/). Some unfinished business there … at some point before I get too decrepit I’d like to run the #TrantersRound, and the #CapeWrathTrail unsupported, for that’s the purest form of the game. The former is realistic, the latter perhaps not, but what’s the point of aspiration if the goal is clearly obtainable?

The Glencoul Thrust was a geological highlight on the Cape Wrath Trail, a route laden with a sense of the earth's age. Still trying to work out how I felt about it all. Poems help me dig into my feelings and uncover ideas and insights.
