So grateful for #parkrun a community for runners at all different levels. Great way to start my weekends. I often use it as a recovery run. Was great today not chasing any PBs etc besides embracing the easy run.
16 weeks to #CapeTownMarathon and still loving the journey of getting there to start AND finish.

The easy / recovery run isn’t easy sometimes. It can be hard to hold back when you can run & want to run faster. Sometimes I do it right, this Saturday’s run was so hard in terms of holding back.
Slowly building up the longer runs as I train to start and finish @capetownmarathon.
Runners, how do you “check yourself” so that you’re not running faster / harder than you should be?
